Google invests in local students with $30,000 support for Questa Education Foundation

Google has generously awarded $30,000 to Questa Education Foundation, expanding opportunities for local students to pursue higher education with less financial burden. This support bolsters the Questa Scholars Program—particularly for students in high-demand STEM fields—empowering them to advance their education, complete degrees, and step into the region’s most critical careers.

Demand for Questa’s financial aid continues to grow as more students seek pathways to affordable postsecondary education. Last year alone, Questa received twice as many applications than it had resources to fund. Google’s contribution arrives at a pivotal moment, enabling Questa to reach more students, close financial gaps, and help families navigate education costs.

“Education fuels innovation, and innovation fuels strong communities,” said Allyson Eastman, Senior Manager Data Center Community Development and Engagement at Google. “By supporting Questa Scholars, we’re investing in the future problem-solvers, creators, and leaders who will help northeast Indiana thrive. We’re proud to be part of the community in Fort Wayne and collaborate with Questa to open doors for students.”

Through its forgivable loan programs, Questa reduces financial barriers for local students while encouraging graduates to stay in northeast Indiana, contribute to the workforce, and build their futures in the region. Many Questa Scholars go on to fill essential roles in engineering, healthcare, technology, and advanced manufacturing—fields vital to the area’s continued economic strength.
