Questa Education Foundation recently celebrated another year of transforming lives and strengthening Northeast Indiana’s workforce by bringing together donors, employer partners, educators, alumni, and community leaders for its annual Turning Tassels celebration.
During the event, Questa unveiled its 2026 Impact Report, highlighting another year of growth and community investment that is helping more local students continue their education with less debt, while building meaningful careers across the region.
This past year, Questa supported more than 725 students, representing a 10% increase over the previous year, while continuing to achieve an 85% graduation rate, well above the national average of 60%. Today, 82% of Questa graduates are living and working in Northeast Indiana, strengthening the region’s workforce and local economy, while 95% of Career Scholar graduates remain employed with their employer partner.
"This growth represents hundreds of students who now have greater access to education, stronger career opportunities, and a path to build their future here in Northeast Indiana," said Dr. Elizabeth Bushnell, president & CEO of Questa Education Foundation. "Every student we serve is possible because of a community that believes education is one of the strongest investments we can make."
This year’s report also celebrates the expansion of Questa’s partnerships, including new programs launched with 3Rivers Federal Credit Union, Beacon Credit Union, Byron Health, Do it Best True Value, and ProFed Credit Union. These partnerships create additional pathways for students to pursue high-demand careers while helping employers build their future workforce.
Questa also launched community partnerships with the Olive B. Cole Foundation to administer the Cole Scholarship in Noble County, Bridge of Grace Ministries to administer the Mount Vernon Park Scholarship, and the Summit Legacy Foundation to administer the Summit Legacy Scholarship, strengthening access to educational opportunities in underserved areas.
The 2026 Impact Report demonstrates that every investment in education creates lasting returns. As more scholars graduate, launch careers, and remain in the region, they strengthen local businesses, healthcare systems, schools, and communities for years to come.
