Summit Legacy Foundation Partners with Questa Education Foundation to Launch New Scholarship for Graduating North Side High School Students

The Summit Legacy Foundation is partnering with Questa Education Foundation to launch the Summit Legacy Scholarship. This new scholarship program supports graduating North Side High School seniors who are seeking certificates to pursue careers in the trades and other hands-on, skill-based fields.

Facilitated by Questa, the scholarship helps students cover up to 50% of their total education or training program costs, with most awards ranging from $1,500 to $2,500. This scholarship provides continued support throughout a student’s enrollment in their program if they remain in good standing and make progress toward certification, licensure, or credential completion.

Through this partnership, the Summit Legacy Foundation and Questa Education Foundation are opening doors to education and training in fields that may otherwise go unsupported, empowering students while strengthening the region’s future workforce.

“So many students have the talent, drive, and work ethic to succeed in hands-on careers, but too often those pathways do not receive the same level of support,” said Jenna Harter, associate director of Summit Legacy Foundation. “Through the Summit Legacy Scholarship and our partnership with Questa, we are proud to invest in students who are ready to build meaningful careers and strengthen our community.”

The Summit Legacy Scholarship is designed for students who demonstrate determination, an entrepreneurial mindset, and an interest in living and working in Northeast Indiana after completing their training program.

“This scholarship is about more than financial support; it’s about recognizing the value of a skilled workforce in diverse industries,” said Dr. Elizabeth Bushnell, president and CEO of Questa Education Foundation. “Partnering with the Summit Legacy Foundation allows us to expand support for students and connect them to long-term career opportunities in our region.”

North Side High School seniors graduating in spring 2026 are encouraged to apply by the March 15 priority deadline. Additional details regarding eligibility are available at www.questafoundation.org/summit-legacy-scholarship.
