Grant County Scholars Program

The Grant County Scholars Program is designed to assist students to achieve their degrees AND graduate with less debt.

In partnership with the Community Foundation of Grant County, this program assists families with a gap between the cost of attendance and the family's financial responsibility. Funding for this program is available for students pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree. $5,000 is awarded per year, up to $20,000 for a four-year degree, and $10,000 for an associate’s degree.

Grant County Scholars receive 50% debt forgiveness on their Questa loan when they complete their degree and live in Grant County after graduation! Scholars may be eligible for up to 75% debt forgiveness on their Questa loan when they attend and graduate from one of our partnering schools. Current high school seniors (Class of 2024) and college freshmen from Grant County are eligible to apply!
