We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Director of Programs.

Assistant Director of Programs 

Job Summary:

As a member of the Questa Education Foundation team, the Assistant Director of Programs leads Career Scholar programs with an emphasis on recruiting and supporting current college students for education funding and full-time career opportunities. In this role, the Assistant Director of Programs will lead comprehensive outreach strategies to recruit candidates and manage all aspects of program implementation.  The Assistant Director will work closely with college and employer partners to facilitate student applications, awards, and support for graduation and career connections.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Program Leadership: Plan and implement Career Scholar programs that include professional learning experiences (e.g. work-based learning, internships, etc.), education funding, and connections for full-time career opportunities with employer partners.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and launch new Career Scholar programs designed to support student success and meet the talent needs of employer partners.

  • Lead program implementation including applications, employer selections, awards, disbursements, compliance, and debt forgiveness.

  • Manage all aspects of program implementation to ensure success in meeting goals, including program enrollment, scholar success, and graduate employment with employer partners.

  • Evaluate outcomes and develop strategies for program enhancements.

Program Outreach, Marketing, and Recruitment: Lead outreach and marketing strategies to recruit student candidates and fully enroll programs.

  • Develop and implement creative and comprehensive outreach strategies to recruit student candidates and fully enroll programs.

  • Promote programs through regular campus visits, presentations, career fairs, and other events.

  • Plan and lead Questa events for program promotion and scholar support.

  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director for Data & Marketing to develop and implement communication and marketing strategies to promote programs, resulting in applications and awards.

Scholar Support: Serve as the primary contact for Career Scholars, providing exceptional service and support.

  • Support student success with regular communication throughout students’ enrollment, graduation, and connection with employer partners for career opportunities.

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain student records and partner contacts in the database and manage all digital system processes for applications, awards, agreements, and compliance.

  • Generate and analyze reports to support program operations and outcomes.

  • Serve on the Questa program team to support promotion, implementation, and success of all Questa programs.

College and Employer Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with higher education and employer partners to ensure collaboration and coordinated resources and support for students.

  • Connect with college and universities to establish relationships, promote programs, recruit candidates, and support enrolled students.

  • Collaborate with employer partners to facilitate scholar selections, professional experiences, and career connections for scholars.

 

Secondary Job Functions:

  • Assist in building awareness and growth of other Questa programs

  • Support career and alumni connections and programs for students

  • Other duties as assigned to meet organizational goals

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferred (in communication, marketing/sales, human resources, student affairs, or related field)

  • 5+ years of experience working in higher education (admissions or student services), career counseling, human resources, recruiting, or related fields

  • Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, public speaking, written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven success in recruiting and community and client relations strongly preferred

  • Commitment to student success and Questa’s mission

 

Work Schedule: This is a full time, exempt position.  Office hours are 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.  Depending on the project cycles and workflow demands, additional hours or workday schedule changes may be required.  Regular, regional travel will be required.

 

Salary Range: $55,000-60,000
