The Summit Legacy Scholarship for Graduating North Side High School Students.

Starting fall 2026, the Summit Legacy Foundation will help North Side High School students take the next step toward meaningful, hands-on careers. Designed for students pursuing the trades and other skill-based fields, this scholarship creates opportunities for a bright future right here in Northeast Indiana.

Whether you are driven to build, fix, create, or launch your own path, the Summit Legacy Scholarship is here to help you turn determination into opportunity.

Summit Legacy Scholarship recipients may receive funding covering up to 50% of their total program costs, with most awards ranging from $1,500 to $2,500. Higher-cost programs may be considered for larger awards. Scholarship funds are distributed throughout the student’s enrollment to provide ongoing support.

 

You’re eligible to apply for the Summit Legacy Scholarship if you meet the following:

  • Current high school senior graduating from North Side High School

  • Cumulative high school GPA of 2.0 or higher

  • Pursuing a certification, undergraduate certificate, and/or licensure in approved fields 

  • Accepted at a nonprofit, accredited or other approved educational or training program

  •  Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, go-getter spirit, and determination  

  • Interest in living and working in the region upon graduation 

Application Open January 15 - March 15 (Priority Deadline)

Scholars may apply for both the Summit Legacy Scholarship and the Traditional Scholars Program for additional funding support.
