The Ortho Scholars Program, created by Questa Education Foundation in partnership with OrthoWorx and leading orthopedic businesses, is here to help students like you gain valuable work experience, receive financial aid for college, and kickstart your career in Northeast Indiana’s thriving orthopedic industry.
This program is designed to meet the critical talent needs of the orthopedic field while helping students achieve their educational goals and build meaningful careers close to home.

Receive funding for your education, and graduate with less debt! Enjoy 50-75% loan forgiveness on your Questa loan when you graduate and commit to living and working in Northeast Indiana for 5 years.
Who is Eligible?
Students pursuing certificate or degree programs in fields essential to the orthopedic industry, including:
Certificate Programs: Computer Aided Design, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Machine Tool Technology, Manufacturing Production & Operations, Smart Manufacturing & Digital Integration, Industrial Technology, Machining, Quality, and Maintenance.
Degree Programs: Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business, and other related fields
How It Works:
The Ortho Scholars Program supports local students, connecting you with local orthopedic companies for career opportunities, helping you launch your orthopedic career closer to home with less debt and more opportunity.
Through this program, you can receive up to 75% loan forgiveness when you graduate from a Questa partner school and choose to live and work in Northeast Indiana for at least five years. Focus on your future, not your student debt.
Requirements:
Resident of one of the 11 counties in Northeast Indiana (Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley).
Engineering students from counties outside Northeast Indiana are also eligible (learn more).
Intent to live and work in Northeast Indiana for five years upon graduation.
Pursuing an undergraduate degree at an Indiana college or university.
Interest in a career at an orthopedics business upon graduation.
Cumulative college GPA of 2.5 or greater.

If you are a current high school senior, apply to this program through our Traditional Scholars application. The Traditional Scholars application is open January 15-March 15.
