Selection Process
Questa Foundation’s selection process is highly competitive. Many more applicants will apply than will be selected. Selection is based upon demonstrated financial need and high academic merit. Community service, leadership experience and an interest in returning (or remaining) in northeast Indiana after graduation also are taken into consideration.
Once candidates are screened based upon demonstrated financial need, qualified applicants are ranked academically against all other applicants.
A selection committee comprised of members of Questa’s board of directors and community volunteers then reviews the applications of the most highly ranked applicants and selects students for participation in the Questa Scholars 1/2 Back Loan Program.
All decisions of the board are final.
